i'm having trouble with the last step (of course) of roman diaz's penguin from his book origami essence. it's the part where he only says "add the finishing touches..." i figured out the head, but i am confused as to what i am supposed to do to the wing and feet. it appears that an extra flap appears out of nowhere and i am supposed to unfold something? thanks for your help

Hm? I seem to remember it was taking the feet flaps and flattening them out and just a crimp of some kind to make then less triangular--no extra flaps...
Did you get an extra flap? If so, I'm not sure how...
