Most amazing origami flowers?

Post by minami »

I want to make a flower arrangement for a gift, and I'd like to know, what are the most showy flowers you can think of? I'm thinking of Kawasaki's rose first, maybe LaFosse's orchid, and also Chan's and Lang's roses are pretty amazing.
So, Anyone have any recommendations for me?

I really like the Flower at Origamiaustria.com
Origami is like food. You can love it and be obese. Or you can hate it and be and be a"cute". Or you can be a fail and your just that. A fail. Flickr : http://www.flickr.com/photos/76647015@N08/?saved=1

check out
http://www.bloom4ever.com
this site has free instructions for a lot of different roses (and fitting bases, calyxes, and leaves)

personally I like Jens-Helge Dahmen's Ladyslipper

(on the very left) but I don't know if the book is easy to obtain outside of Germany...

You could try to get diagrams for some of Victoria Serova's models--those are the best flowers I know of. But I'm not sure how many exist.
