Max Hulme - Pixel Unit

OK spent 2 days avidly searching for an exact location to learn how to create the "Pixel Unit" by Max Hulme from the B.O.S. 2008 convention. Tried several links to the B.O.S. all the models I found were for trains chess set, etc. Even checked my local libraries copies of their books for the instructions with no luck. If anyone could point me to a publication/website with these instructions I would be grateful.

I seem to remember there was a convention in which he taught how to fold the pixel units but I don't remember where...

Also I found this book (link below) that contains diagrams for the pixel handbag so this means it would have to contain the information about the units as well correct? (how else could you fold them?:)
