Icarus Cube?
Does anyone know if David Mitchell's "Icarus Cube" is diagrammed anywhere other than the _Building With Butterfies_ book (which I can't find on Amazon or Alibris)?

Re: Icarus Cube?
http://www.origamidatabase.com/ doesn't list any model with the name you gave. The only cube like model by David Mitchell in the book Building with butterflies is called Columbus cube and if this is the one you are looking for, it seems it is only diagrammed in such book.
Re: Icarus Cube?
The Columbus cube is different from the Icarus cube. There is a picture of the Icarus cube in David Mitchell's page:

I don't know where to find the diagram. May be you can try contacting David Mitchell by email? There's an email address is in his page.

Thanks, I will email David Mitchell. I found the Icarus Cube listed only in the aforementioned book, but one never knows if a page like that is up to date! For the earlier poster, the Icarus Cube and the Columbus Cube are different things. I came across the Icarus Cube in a recent edition of _The Fold_, the very picture which can be seen on fickr here: http://clinki.es/go/Il

You're right, origamidatabase is not always up to date.fncll wrote:Thanks, I will email David Mitchell.
