I think this was made by just combining three traditional kusudama pieces, in different stages of folding, for each flower.

The white part looks like a traditional kusudama piece. (like the flower in the video)
The pink part seems to be the same, but just unfolding the tips that go inside the flower. (like the leaves in the video)
For the yellow part, just do all the folding but stop before turning the paper inside out. (up to 4:30 aprox in the video). Then spread it.
The pink and white paper seems to be of the same size, and the yellow one a little smaller.
