Hello. Is there a list of public domain origami models? By "public domain," I mean models that aren't copyrighted. (Some "traditional" origami models, like the crane, fall under the public domain category.) Thanks!

To the furthest extent of my knowledge, the traditional models are the only ones under public domain. The issue is picking out which ones are traditional and which ones aren't.

I believe Gilad's site has a whole section just for traditional models. However, like Baltorigamist said, picking out the copyrighted ones from the ones that aren't might be difficult.

Not exactly what you ask, but a list and diagrams for a lot of traditional models are at David Petty's webpage: http://www.davidpetty.me.uk/

I remember seeing a model somewhere (I think it was the Simple Sorceror or something by Perry Bailey) that the author put in the public domain. The diagrams are on Joseph Wu's site.
