looking for a lifelike cat
Hi. Since I have 5 cats running around my house all day, I've been looking for a good lifelike origami cat model. I have found a few that are nice but I'm looking for more.
Models I've already seen:
tanaka's cat
david brill
joisel
hideo komatsu
I really like the licking cat by nicolas henriquez and the cats by victoria serova, but both are not diagrammed, or even a cp.
Maybe someone on the forum has found a great one?
Btw: I did search for 'cat' on the forum and have been going trough 30 pages of links with word cat in it....

one of Victoria Serova's cat is diagrammed in CDO Convention 2011 see e.g.:roodborst wrote: I really like the licking cat by nicolas henriquez and the cats by victoria serova, but both are not diagrammed, or even a cp.

Thanks Yeko, I'll have to see if can get that book! And yes indeed I've been trough all gilad's pages. If I remember correctly that's how I found the ones mentioned above. There are a couple of nice ones on flckr aswell, but they are from people that don't diagram there models. too bad.
Maybe someone got some more?

Re: looking for a lifelike cat
Fumiaki Kawahata has several strewn throughout the Tanteidan books, I believe. There's also Giang Dinh's.

Re: looking for a lifelike cat
kawahata's is nice, but it's 100steps + model. I actually made gian dinh's once, but with copypaper. Maybe I'll wetfold one with elephant hide, guess that would look better.
Still looking for models!

Re: looking for a lifelike cat
I have a cat design here that's pretty simple. It would be pretty hard to diagram it, but I'll post the CP if you want.

Yeah sure, I haven't really done CP, but since you say it's easy I'll give it a try.
