Thanks. :D

Sorry for necroposting, but I also am interrested in this. One of my teachers asked for a freshwater fish; not necessarily a bass though. I know of Hsi Hua Lui's fish, but are there any others?

Fresh water fish are under represented.
I can think of several salmon, Ronald Koh's goldfish (amongst others), of course, the Lang & Lafosse Koi - but that's about it.
Marine fish have been much better served, perhaps because many common river fish are quite generic looking?

As mentioned, the Goldfish by Ronald Koh are great!
Then there is also the koi by Go Koshinota- it h as color changes! Diagrams can be found at the Origami Tanteiden 5th Convention book. The koi by Sipho Mabona has diagrams that can be found at his flickr page.
The Pirahna by Olivia Viet can be found in "Le Pli" 76.
The Mudskipper by Seo Won Seon and Lee In Kyung can be found int their book- Creative Origami.

I have always admired John Montroll's Sunfish, in Origami For the Enthusiast .
While a nice fish on it's own, it can be readily modified to resemble another type of fish, a bass, for example .
