The BOS shop isn't active at the moment because currently there is not anyone to take over the running. So the BOS are "in talks with the Association of Teachers of Mathematics who will be taking over the storing, handling and distribution of the origami publications we provide."
On the topic of back issues, I don't think you can get them from the supplies shop. I think you may have to contact someone from the council, try Mark Bolitho the secretary. If you want an email address PM me.

Good news, the BOS shop is open again. This just came over the Origami Mailing List:
Mark Bolitho wrote:Dear all,
Just to let you all know, the new BOS Supplies website is now open for business and is ready to take your orders in time for Christmas. It can be found on the BOS website ((w)
http://supplies.britishorigami.info/). The revamped site features enhanced search facilities and pictures of the products on offer. So now is your chance to purchase any convention packs that you may have missed or any recently published BOS publications.
The site offers more than 100 books and booklets for sale. These include recently published booklets by Max Hulme, Penny Groom, Giles Towning and Quentin Trollip. You can also purchase our recent published convention collections. We also have a range of more than 140 different origami papers.
Members of the British Origami Society are entitled to a 10% discount. This can be obtained by entering the ‘members' area password as a promotion code at the checkout.
Best wishes
