Hi everybody,

I'm looking for the diagram for creating one of those:

Image

It looks really cool, however I don't know how to fold a single part. I think that it is either made from one, double-colored sheet of paper or the top, colored part is put on a white piece of paper, but I guess it'll be better if it was made from just 1 sheet of paper. I was looking for the diagram on the web, but found nothing.

I don't know the answer to your question, all I know is that it could be a model by Tomoko Fuse, since it looks similar to one of the boxes in this picture which are her models folded by herself.

Thx for the reply, but I can't find the diagram for this particular box with the pinwheel on top of it...

I didn't say it was going to be easy, just wanted to give a start point.

Still may not be easy, but it looks simpler than a box, like a windmill base (or blinzed windmill) that has four flaps folded over "backwards" one on top of the other in sequence.

I guess if you fold the flaps in step 9 of Robin Glynn's Giftbox outwards instead of inwards it should give a similar result. I haven't tried it though.
The diagrams can be found on his homepage: http://glynnorigami.co.uk
