I'm looking for any Origami Parrot or Parrotlike species, such as a Cockatoo or especially a Cockatiel that has either color changes and/or proper zygodactylous (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dactyly#In_birds) toes. I know of Ronald Koh's Cockatoo, but I'm looking for any others.

manuel sirgo has a great parrot in his book 'origami menagrie' and
robert lang has a awesome cockatiel in his book 'origami animals'
nicolas terry also has one on papertheworld.com
robert lang has a parrot with toes in his book 'complete book of origami'.
this page also has a source of fantastic origami parrots.

Ashimura Shunichi's Scarlet Macaw is the best I've seen so far. It's not really complex, but it is nice. Robert Lang also has a similar parrot.

Yes, the lang Cockatoo in "Origami Animals" (
http://www.giladorigami.com/BO_Paper_Animals.html) is simple but very nice, 3D, & with colour changes.
That book is very hard to find though - if ever anyone is in Windsor in the UK, drop by the library, as they have a copy! - all models are nice, and the lion in particular has a very interesting lock.
Terry's Parrot?

I'm aware that Terry has the simple parrot on , but I was wondering if the diagrams to the more intermediate, 3D parrot here:
http://www.origami-shop.com/de/amasing- ... 7-986.html ,is published?

There's a parrot about halfway down this page that I like a lot:

Color changes, toes, interesting look. I've done it once, I think from an 8" paper, though if I remember correctly it wanted something a bit bigger.

Lang's "Origami Animals" is not what I'd call hard-to-find; there are 18 used copies up on Amazon, several for less than $20 USD...
