I've been trying to find a good diagram of an intermediate-level lotus, but all I can ever find is the "repeatedly fold corners to the center" schtick. Anyone know of a diagram to make something more like this? Online, preferrably, since I don't have much money for books right now.

Thanks.

that looks like it is the sea urchin by Mr.Meguro but with the points spread apart and obviously upside down
also you could try the internet to search for pirated books although I do not condone, and if you do in tanteidan #5 there is the seating buddha by master hoyjo which does have a lotus underneath but is the same points to the center one.
hope this helps

I do not condone illegal downloading of books or any kind of diagrams from the internet and or videos, the suggestion is only to answer the question of where he could find another intermidiate lotus

There is a very nice intermediate lotus by the Shumakov's. Check http://www.oriland.com/studio/gallery.asp?ID=Plants and then choose lotus

Huh, if that's intermediate, I guess I'm an advanced folder then? :?

I've seen this model before, but I think I'll try messing around with it to increase the number of points. Thanks for the help.

Looks like a modular to me, not a single-sheet model. It bears some resemblance to the lotus from David Mitchell's "Chinese Origami", though it looks like it's been glued together. May I ask where you found the photo?
