Greetings & Salutations.

Post by Roketto »

Hi people.

I'm Rocket, & I fold origami for fun. Now, what's not fun is when I get over my head with a model that's too advanced for me to admit. The thing about origami is that it's impossible to skip a step. Ergo, I registered here to ask for help, & learn from my fellow folded-paper enthusiasts.

About me:

* I'm 22, female, & I have a Master's Degree in Communications.

* I speak/write Japanese semi-fluently, though I need practice with conversation.

* I'm a manga/anime fan, as evidenced by my DeviantArt: http://ryunoohi.deviantart.com/ Stop by & have a look!

* I love dragons. Most of the origami models I try to make are dragons, or other complicated creatures.

* I'm also a martial artist, with 4 years of Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis Style Kung Fu under my belt. One day, I hope to fold an origami Mantis for my Sifu.

That's all the interesting bits about me; I hope that this site & its users are helpful to me!

Welcome!

This forum is a great place to ask for help. If you run across any problems, or have any questions about a model or an aspect of origami, ask away!

I'm jealous of your background by the way... I've always wanted to learn a martial art and the Japanese language!

Have fun!
