Neorigami's first year!

In August 11th, 2011 Neorigami opened its doors to the public. That's why this Saturday is a very special day.

I ask you to celebrate it with me. I wish for that day to be the one with the most things posted in the blog. Are you with me ?

It can be any model of your own design, it doesn't have to be recent nor complex. You don't even have to teach how to fold it, but if you decide to do it EVEN BETTER. Or if you prefer to share an article, it can be any personal thoughts related with origami .

So, if you were thinking about posting a model during the following days, wait till Saturday. And if you weren't thinking about that, please look for any old model of yours for the 11th. Don't forget to also add some info instead of only posting pictures. And if you still don't have an account in the blog, making one is very easy.

Neorigami has had a great first year all thanks to you who have found something interesting in the collaborative blog. Don't let the day pass without celebrating it .

Finally the day came, one year ago from today Neorigami opened it's doors to everyone. A round of applause for you!

Actually 26, and it's a definite record . The first one was around 5:00am in Paris, posted by the French origamist: Magic Fingaz. The last one was around 10:00pm in Bogotá. It was complicated to ask everyone to post everything the same day when each day starts and ends at different moments depending on where each one lives . Know what I mean?

Yesterday's activity was such a success that all that traffic exceeded the bandwith limit. For now Neorigami is OFFLINE. Let's hope I can do something about that soon.
