NYComplex Origami group

Hey everyone.

This Sunday, the 14, is going to be the first meeting of complex folders in NYC ever!

Its from 1-4PM at the Natural History Museum.

hello,

I saw that this was posted a few years ago and wanted to know if you are still active. Also i am still a novice at origami and wanted to know if this was a good club for me or is there one that specificlly cateres to bigginners.

The group is not so active anymore, though I don't think it is dead.

However, it is a supercomplex group, where everyone in it is very familiar with complicated origami. So, I would suggest instead going to the monthly Folding Sundays at the Museum of Natural History that OrigamiUSA organizes.

Also, several times a year they have Special Folding Sessions, where there are official classes being taught by volunteers. You need to pay to attend these, but if you're interested in a class, you get to learn the model and also help out the organization.
