Folders in Germany, Austria, and Prague

I am going to be in Germany, Austria, and Prague in May with the University of Akron Symphonic Band. We are playing 2 concerts-one is in Salzburg at 1:00 in the Mirabell Gardens and the other is in Munich at 2:00 at the Chinese Pagoda in the English Garden.

That aside, I would love to meet with folders while I am in Europe if possible. Unfortunately, I will not be in Vienna (sorry, origami_8), but I will be in Prague, Salzburg, Munich, and Heidelburg. In Prague I am free the 14th in the afternoon (about 1:00-6:30) and maybe in the evening on the 14th and 15th. I will be in Salzburg from the 16th to the 18th, but I don't think I will have much free time. I may have some time on the 19th in Munich, but it does not look promising. Those are limited times, but I hope I could see some of you guys-it would be great to meet some people in person that I only know on the forum.

Also, does anyone have suggestions of good shops to buy paper in these cities? It would be cool to find some good paper that is perhaps unavailable or hard to find in the US (elephant hide?).

Small sheets of Elefantenhaut (A4) are usually available at every Libro store in Austria. I can ask my sister who lives in Salzburg if she knows of a paper store who sells larger sheets. Maybe the little paper shop in the Europark in Taxham (Bus 1 or 10 last station) sells some larger sheets. In the Europark is also a Thalia bookshop that sells spray adhesive (and maybe also paper).

Edit: OK, I asked my mom and my sister and they both said that you should visit the paper store "Abraham" in the street "Saint-Julien-Str.". You can go there from the train station if you take the bus 2 (to the Airport) or the bus 1 (to the Messezentrum) and drive two stations. The bus stops in front of the Lehener Brücke (bridge). Just go back in the direction the bus has come from. The shop should be at the crossroads on the right street side.

Haha, hi Petr-I haven't heard much from you lately. I finished the tiger beetle and finally took a crappy photo of it. Also, there is a time zone difference, but maybe we could catch each other on the origami IRC chat: viewtopic.php?t=87 (look at Daydreamer's post-the irc.rizon.net one).

tripple wow!

there really is a serious timezone difference. six hours. so if you could be online at 2 p.m., it will be 8 p.m. here, which is quite late, but it will be ok at the weekend. it's up to you, but probably you will be somewhere with your family, won't you? anyway. the possibility is still here, so with a bit of luck... :D
