In you country zbogom might have a slang meaning of "have a good day" but on about five croation to english dictionary's including this one it means goodbye or farewell

This is one of the main reasons this forum is in english at least then no one can misinterpret anything that you say im not saying that anyone was in the wrong but this is probably not right place to argue about it

message for _eCho_: Your question has been answered countless times so you won't get a tailor made reply but if you look at the previous posts you will find the answer to your problem :)

ps:"a very very very free interpreted translation" i agree with franz it was a rather free translation

Umm... doesn't n.d.c know how to fold the rose? I was sure that he opened a topic on this forum about the same rose. :?

Dear Echo,

Here is a better video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL9DW6sM ... re=related

On youtube you can also search for origami rose and will come up with a whole plethera of videos. I too had trouble with this step when i first tried it (it actually took me over a month to figure it out  ) I was under the impression that you have to make the quadrants line up one exactly over the next but you don't. All you do is pick up the flap and pull it until it is aligned with the edge of the flap to the right of it. It does not cover this quadrant completely only about 3/4 then you make a crease underneath to help the paper keep this turn. The model will no longer lie flat after this step but become tubular. Hope that helped :) Let me know any other trouble you are having and happy folding!

I don't see what the fuss is all about...

If _eCho_ has read the other links and watched the uTube video and still has no idea, well maybe his brain is not as fast learning as everyone else in this forum. Sorry eCho, I do not mean to say something like that, but that's how everyone seems to think.

Anyways, with regards to your original post about step 23:
1) If you have step 22, then that's great.

2) Flip the paper around. Then you will see the exact same picture as step 23. (Woah... that wasn't so hard was it?)
If you did read the comments, it says "Flip the paper over. This is how the front of step #22 looks like. Now you have four quadrants"

3) What is so hard about 23? Flipping the paper over? Is the paper really really heavy? Did you super glue the paper to the table or something?
If you can't flip the paper over, maybe... you should forget about this rose and do something simpler.

4) Jokes over, what I think you really don't get is, step 24.

5) Once you have the paper flipped over, you get your 4 quadrants, how are the quadrants separated? By the massive +, am I right or am I wrong?

6) Now from the diagram, it is shown to hold the corner of where the separating edge is (The line between quadrant IV and I).

7) Pull and rotate as stated, all the way to the separating line of quadrant I and II.

8) Suggestion, before you even perform this, read up to step 26, as it shows you how it's done.

Good luck!

Don't forget to flip the paper over in step 23! :-P

Mehhh, it's not a difficult design but I you can only do a crane and a swan it's maybe not the right thing to jump to something like that.

I made it in just 1 attempt so it's not that hard, while I'm doing Origami for about a decade I just don't do it regular enough to be good at it, I'm just average.
