Here are the steps and i am having a problem on step 7. I have done the blitz fold and i have the square but i dont know how to get the picture on step 8. Please explain how i fold it.
Ok, a preliminary fold is a very common structure you'll see all over the place in a lot of models. Take a piece of paper, fold and unfold it through both diagonals. Now turn it over, fold and unfold it in half in both directions. Notice that what you're left with (still flat) has the same patterns of mountain and valley folds as the picture in step 8. There should be one logical way (er, two, if you leave a crease flat) to collapse this using all the folds you just made into something symmetrical and 1/4 the size. Try and do that. You should get a smaller square that's 4 layers thick total.
Take the picture on the left, flip it over, and perform the preliminary fold. The top right quarter of the picture on the left is what you see on the front of the picture on the right. The top right corner of the picture on the left ends up as the bottom corner of the picture on the right.
I don't want to sound rude, but if that was hard to figure out then this model is probably far harder than you should start with. Perhaps try some traditional models and come back to this later.
thanks alot i did it. but i should do a lower lvl but i just want to test my skills on this.. ima amature and my complex one is pretty complex but its medium for you i bet.
You should try to make yourself familiar with the basics of Origami.
Gerwin and Stephen do have pretty good basic-sections on there website, you should really go and have a look at them: http://scarygami.net http://www.fishgoth.com/origami/index.html
