It has nothing to do with the camera angle. If I were to take a picture of a model folded from ordinary paper, it would be perfectly clear. This is one of the disadvantages of foil paper, it doesn't photograph well.
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.

Since I fell like being a nice guy today, I'm going to give show you how to fold one of my models!!
One-fold butterfly

Start with a rectangle of any scale, as long as it's not too long. Valley fold along the diagonal. Be prepared for a though ride. This step is very complicated and takes a few years to master.

Congratulations!! You have just made a butterfly! Now go show of this amazing complex marvel of engineering to all your friends, family and perhaps the hobo on the street.

I am sure that it is not easy to hit both corners of rectangle properly while making diagonal.

Here is version 2.1 of my Bahamut.

I think I might have finally captured the essence of Bahamut's freakishly humongous wings!

Uhhh...okay, maybe not.

Here's my latest model, designed and folded by me for the Monthly Folding Challenge. A mama kangaroo with joey in her pouch! MC-folded from one uncut square of heavy construction paper.

Dragon Rider 2.1

Upgrade of my previous Dragon Rider design. Now it has 7 horns on it's head and longer tail and wings. It has 5 toes on each foot and the head comes from the MIDDLE of the paper, so it's very thick.
