Help with Gen Hagiwara's Giraffe

I've managed to get all the creases in, but I can't for the life of me work out which creases go which way. The main problem is the bits that have a cross ( + ) like pattern. Unfortunately there are quite a lot of bits like that here.


Sorry if it's too obvious to you, I'm fairly new to this sort of thing.

I've not tried it yet but I can say already with the pattern that in the bottom left corner, it is some sort of swivel. In the bottom right corner, its kinda like a bird base. I will try it out soon, I have too much too do.
