Who knows how dragons looks like really, but thick head and thin legs do not looks pretty. Try to change proportions.

The head isn't really that thick, just thick enough. If I didn't tell you it was thick in the first place, you probably wouldn't notice. The tail was too long in this version, so I added pleats, which thanks to my stupid camera, you can't even see. Since it uses a modified blintz frog base, I should be able to lengthen the hind legs by shortening the tail. It was already too late to do it when I noticed. This is only a draft, I'm planning to refold it with tissue foil.

The problem isn't as much the camera, but rather that you are using foil which is one of the worst materials for good pictures. You might consider folding with the white side instead of the foil side on the outside next time :-)
So long and keep folding ^_^

The one thing that is really good (to me) about this model is the position of the rider!

Well, it's partly my cameras fault. It's a relatively old model and the shutter absorbs a lot of light when I take pictures. Very often I have to take pictures of my foil models in the dark. But you're right though, models look a lot better when I fold with the white side out, since you can't see the foil tearing and pealing off like a rotten old banana.

While taking photos, I noticed that the model can balanced on 2 legs. It freaked the hell out of me when I first saw it. I didn't even think it was possible. But it does add some realism to the model.

Rider details. Sorry for the fuzzy picture.

The Tarantula is good, it would be alot better if you could make the legs longer and the head more shaped and not so flat. :D

Oh yeah. I was so focused on making the body 3 dimensional that I totally forgot about the head Image I just tried puffing out the head and it looks a lot more realistic. I won't post anymore pictures though, because I'm too lazy. So you'll just have to imagine what it looks like Image

Constructive criticism ftw? :|

Angrydemon, I really like your scorpion. The tarantula needs some work though, I think. It looks a bit wide to me, and I think it needs some shaping. For example, the head and the 'torso' ( - I'm not entirely sure what it's called - ) don't make it look like a real tarantula, but more like a rectangle with legs.
