Looking for birds of prey

Hi, I'm looking for some nice origami models of birds of prey, diagrammed if possible.
Hawk, falcon, harrier, buzzard, if those fail maybe a eagle, osprey or similar. Preferebly with 'open' wings.

So far I could find:
red tailed hawk, by r. Lang, cp only

Cuong's eagle diagrammed in license to fold (The amount of precreasing made me wonder if I can fold this)

Seth friedman's coopers hawk (I folded this about a year ago. With kraft, didn't turn out nice, and had a complex collapse)

It is going to be a present for someone who really likes these birds, goes birdwatching etc. But I would like to make a bird that has it's habitat in the Netherlands, falcons and harriers are most common here but I can't seem to find any origami models of those birds.

Any help will be highly appreciated!

Trollip's Eagle in Origami Sequence is very nice. I've also seen it modified into a vulture, so you could probably shape it to a different bird of prey if you want to.

I must say that I'm liking the looks nguyen's eagle best, but after taking a look at the diagrams, I'm wondering if I can fold this. I got a feeling I'll be precreasing for 2 hours and then ruining the entire thing with some really hard collapse or sink.

Does anybod know of any other models?

Just tried and failed Hoang's hawk. Paper was too small. (40cm double tissue MC)

I found a hawk by bernie peyton, not sure if it is in his book?

Sadly, I don't think that Hawk is in his book.I would go with Quentin's eagle. It is the easiest to recognize its species. Plus, even though its box pleating, its pretty fun! I'd be happy to help you on any step .

That is one impressive bird!
But I don't think you have a diagram and I really suck at boxpleating since I'm to impatient to make a grid. This looks like a giant grid..

Has anyone found some more birds of prey, with claws and nice wings but a little less complex then the above.

Btw: I just made 3 sheet of tissue foil and 2 triple tissue with MC just to fold a nice hawk/eagle/ etc. I made some squares ranging from 30cm to 50 cm.

Is there a cp for hoang trungs eagle. After folding it two or three times I noticed that 1/4 is used for the body and claws, since I really like the wings I might be able to form a different body and claws from just the above 4 squares and then keep the sequence for the wings, only using 16th's to pleat the wings instead of the 32th's he uses.

Will take a bunch of testfolds, hope I made enough paper
