Issei Yoshino has had an F-15, FA-18, Harrier, and I think another, diagrammed in various Tanteidan publications (look him up). All excellent.

Ryo Aoki has had a few planes too, including an F-117, and I think an F-22 in this year's Tanteidan convention book.

You should be able to find a video of an F-22 raptor on Google Video (If it still has free videos), or maybe YouTube. It's nice, and as it's based on Michael LaFosse's F-14, it can fly.

Kawasaki had some too, including an F-14 and an SR-71.

origamivideo.net! Oh, great! I was out for really too long! :(
Hopefully, now I will have some time to get back to folding and (trying) to design.
Anyway, thanks for the link masterjared!
May the shwartz be with you! ;)

Oirgami F 14

Post by birdie87 »

I made a great Origami F 14 that I submitted for a college project once. I wrote about it here: Origami F 14

They have a really wide range of models, I'm sure you can find the one you want. Great fun and sophisticated too. Have fun!!!

Cheers

Michael Lafosse has designed an excellent F14 and an F104 (if I recall correctly) both of which fly. Thay Yang wrote a book full of flyable realistic jet aircraft (http://www.amazon.com/Exquisite-Interce ... 1879384272). If it doesn't fly it just isn't a paper airplane. For some the sky is the limit. For true aviators the sky is home.

Raptor diagrams/video link

Post by bminch »

Hi everyone,

The Raptor video that had been hosted by Google videos stopped working a while back. Google video no longer accepts new uploads and the video is a bit too long for YouTube. I have put it up in a Picasa album, which is publicly accessible. You can find diagrams and a link to the video at

Jose Maria Chaquet's book Famous Aircraft in Origami has amazing models of the F-117 and the F-18. It also has the Panavia Tornado, which is kinda hard, and the Eurofighter Typhoon. That's amazing.
Also, Tem Boun's book Awesome Origami Aircraft Models of the World's Best Fighters has the F-14, F-15, F-16, and F18, also the F-22 and F-35. Then it has some Europeam jets like the Typhoon and Mirages. It also has Russian MiGs. Although, none of Tem's models are from squares.
