An opus is a creative work that is usually numbered to indicate the order in which the artist created them. Usually it refers to a musical work, but can be used for any type of creative work.

robert lang's opus ?

While I believe that the use of opus may be one of many practical solutions for sequential identification, even Dr. Lang would probably agree that it's usage is not without an unfortunate air of pretension.

Hahaha, that is certainly true. I would think that it is probably better to just date your models.
