Nicolas Terry - Winged Warrior

I need some help with the Winged Warrior, found in Nicolas Terry's book Passion Origami.

I am stuck on steps 58-69, because I can't tell what layers go where how, and after taking the "skip to..." option, am stuck on 77 because I can't figure out exactly which flap ifs the hidden one, and then on 80-82 because I have a completely different shape, possibly because of the skip. I used the search option and looked on Terry's site and wasn't able to find anything, so would someone mind to help? (Terry, if you're not elsewise occupied, feel free to help out)
