cotton bond paper

hey everyone,
my grandmother gave me this really nice paper a couple years ago that i just started folding with and its really nice and thin and it has a nice texture. im starting to run out of this paper and i dont know where to get anymore. i asked my grandmother and she forgot where she bought it. i dont have that much info on this paper but there are a few inprints on the surface of it that you can only see when you shine a light through it. the imprint say :racerase bond southworth cu.u.s.aa 25% cotton fiber.
any information on where i can buy more of this paper would be greatly appreciated.

errr, a Google search only brings up this post. Is there a company name on the label?

Okay, Racerase is a brand of paper that seems to be widely used for typewriters and fountain pen writing...the company is a subsidiary of Southworth. The type of paper your Grandma got you seems to also go by the name Onion Skin, which apparently has a crisp texture, yes?

I found this from a book artist mailing list that seems to suggest that this particular brand was put out of production a few years ago....

25% cotton White Copy paper is just a nice higher rag business paper.

You might go to the closest business supply store or Kinkos, and ask them if you can see a single sheet of high rag or 25% cotton paper, and see if it feels like what you have.

If it is, then you're in luck, because it is much cheaper than conventional kami, however, you'll have to cut your own squares. And, I'm not sure about the range of colors.

Onion Skin is also 25% cotton, and I think it's a bit more translucent and crispy .... than the business paper.

Frum... - I don't blame you for being at home. Sub-20 degree weather in Atlanta is outrageous (I'm in Dallas)... good weather for folding inside...
