Randlett's flapping bird?
Im sure there's a youtube video on how to fold it, and probly free diagrams on the internet too.

We're pretty close. But I don't we think have a cigar yet

Not sure of the exact model, but it looks like it may be folded from some variation on the waterbomb base.

I looked through some of Randlett's books, and I didn't see the tab on the bottom on any of the models.
Any other pix or info ?

Well in the picture, its not just a tab i believe... there is a person holding the bird from that pointed flap (so you dont see the end of it), which made me think its randlett's flapping bird, with some shaping done to it.

The bird is taken from the movie Pearl Harbor. I don't know anything else.
It's a nice looking bird, though
