Java Sparrow by Miyamoto Chuya

Hello! I need some help on the Java Sparrow diagrammed in Tanteidan 114.
Steps 60-62 are giving me problems. It seems easy but I just can't do it!

I'm betting you're missing one little part...

In step 59 when you fold the extra paper down to make the triangle, you don't need to fold the entire piece down. It should not form a right angle with the rest of the toes, but rather like this:



Step 60 then, just fold the point of the triangle up (view with the toe spread open):


And when the toes are all done, you should be able to see this if you spread out the toes:
