Tips for spray painting paper?

Post by anonymous person »

I was thinking of spray painting some pieces of kraft , tant and other mono colour papers to make them duo, as Sara Adams seems to have done in this video with the kraft that she gave away. I was wondering how I should best go about this procedure.

I use rolls of RiteCo Raydiant brand, and Pacon Fadeless brand kraft paper. Both are white paper colored on one side with water-resistant inks.

I've never tried to paint the white side, but I suppose it could be done. Go very lightly and allow plenty of time for the paint to dry so you don't soak the paper. No idea how the paint would survive folding or if it would crack or flake off. :(

I would recommend not doing it with spray paint.
