urgh, shaping scales sucks. my paper doesn't help, kraft is so old that I can't even move the folds if they aren't correct. and leg scales... I hope water and glue will keep them in more correct way, now they don't look really like legs of a dragon god :p

You shaped all the scales, thats not correct you must leave two unshaped because of the crimp(4 if we count both legs

yeah, I know, but it is easier for me to fold all of them - those 2 hide under other ones with better result than in original RZ (in my opinion). that's why i shaped all of them.

Yes but it will be harder to make crimp if you shape them...

Even not having folded Ryujin (yet), I don't think foil would be a good paper choice. Get a roll of Kraft paper or something and cut two or three 2m strips. Then glue them together along the long edge.
After the fall, we rise.

I'm currently doing a 2.1 from wrapping paper, 2 strips of 70x140cm.
Try out the wrapping paper on something else first.

matthewclso wrote:I don't get why the dorsal fins are on the edge of the paper. It's on the top of the dragon and there are scales on the sides. What am I supposed to do because the dorsal fins are on the edge of the paper? Would the scales on one side not be connected to the dorsal fins? I don't get how the dorsal fins can be connected to both sides of the body. Thanks in advance.
The sides are simply glued together to make it seem like it's connected.
