You shaped all the scales, thats not correct you must leave two unshaped because of the crimp(4 if we count both legskowal wrote:I started folding my first 2.1 when I was like 16 years old, so I don't think being young is any problem ;p probably if someone had shown me "serious" origami earlier, I would have done it earlier. it's about how much you practice, how your brain works, how fast you can learn tricks with paper and solve little problems like satoshi diamonds.
urgh, shaping scales sucks. my paper doesn't help, kraft is so old that I can't even move the folds if they aren't correct. and leg scales... I hope water and glue will keep them in more correct way, now they don't look really like legs of a dragon god :p

yeah, I know, but it is easier for me to fold all of them - those 2 hide under other ones with better result than in original RZ (in my opinion). that's why i shaped all of them.Dj origami wrote:

Yes but it will be harder to make crimp if you shape them...kowal wrote:yeah, I know, but it is easier for me to fold all of them - those 2 hide under other ones with better result than in original RZ (in my opinion). that's why i shaped all of them.Dj origami wrote:

Even not having folded Ryujin (yet), I don't think foil would be a good paper choice. Get a roll of Kraft paper or something and cut two or three 2m strips. Then glue them together along the long edge.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
I'm currently doing a 2.1 from wrapping paper, 2 strips of 70x140cm.
Try out the wrapping paper on something else first.

Re: Satoshi Kamiya - Ryu Zin (CP)
The sides are simply glued together to make it seem like it's connected.matthewclso wrote:I don't get why the dorsal fins are on the edge of the paper. It's on the top of the dragon and there are scales on the sides. What am I supposed to do because the dorsal fins are on the edge of the paper? Would the scales on one side not be connected to the dorsal fins? I don't get how the dorsal fins can be connected to both sides of the body. Thanks in advance.
