Best Paper for folding Origami Sphere

Best Paper for folding Origami Sphere

I have been folding the Origami Sphere and one problem I have is that the paper I use cracks with use and play with the sphere. I want to make a sphere that is durable. Any suggestions for what paper I might use.

elephant hide was always the best choice for me. I folded the magic ball dry and after I finished I made it real wet and let it dry in closed position. after drying you get an really sturdy magic ball.
