Swordsman - Dang Viet Tan

Post by JumPurge »

The new VOG book brought along a somewhat simple CP for a swordsman.
Unfortunatly, some of the parts of the CP seems unreferenced, almost improvised on the spot. :(
How do you solve it? Is there a base I can work with to get the crease patterns folds, then shape into a desired form?

I think the CP is actually just that--improvised. I like the way the curved folds are built into the model, though--it's the first time I've seen that in something other than a snail or a hermit crab. I have yet to solve this CP myself, but I think it just follows the "CP formula:" precrease, collapse, and shape.
After the fall, we rise.

Hi!
So did you manage to "collapse" it?
Is it a base or something?
Thanks!
The internets are totally evil.
