Origami Dragon

Hello everyone!

Sorry for my english...
I like paper folding.
When I was young, I made basic things.

These days I try to make more complex folds.
I like modular thing, and I made a few balls.

But...
2 days ago, I find a Dragon diagram.
I like to fold it, but I stuck...

I fold the entire modell except the head

Anyone fold this model??

With what steps of the head are you having troubles?

HEAD

1-4 step is ok

But I can't understand the 5th.
Under it, i think in english : repeat it on the other 3 side.
But it do something in the 5th step...
Because i do 1-4 on the all 4 side, the model doesn't look like the 6th step.
6-8 steps are strange for me

In step 5 you have to sink the triangle inside the model. It's easiest to do that if you pull the two points at the bottom apart a bit and push the triangle inside, then flatten the model along the already existing creases (some of them change between valley and mountain).

If you have done the steps 1-5 on all 4 sides you should have exactly the same as in step 6. The Steps 6 and 7 are only folding the whole model in half, distributing the flaps equally to each side.

I'm not sure about step 8 yet, I would have to fold it to see what is meant there....

Another question :

Anything can be fold from a normal printer paper??
I work from it...

Of course! There are lots of people who use regular copy paper for folding.

You will only get into troubles when it comes to really complex models, or models that require a lot of (3D) shaping.

I move on further with the head.
But it doesn't similar to the model in the diagramm.
Someone can make it as in the diagramm??

I happy, so I can use my copy papers...
I made yesterday a rose.
With copy paper it doesn't look so natural.
I saw a video on the metacafe.com, someone made a foil paper (or something

).
A made something like him.
A glued a thin paper to an aluminium foil.
A rose is so natural with this

that dragon looks really cool, i couldnt get to the diagrams though cause the pages keep comin up blank

Yes, that dragon is nice and funny and for me is not wrong way to fold it from several pieces. I like it in any way.
