my nyan cat kind of has a surprise ending. you are doing separate procedures on the different flaps of a pinwheel base and it doesn't look like nyan cat 'till the last 3 folds.

Extremely delayed thank you to you guys--I will try those snappy ones tomorrow morning. :)
@Bnm70 I didn't even think of snappy animals though--facepalm--but it's a really good idea.
@GWB origami I saw the cat in your gallery (very cute--is it colour-changed?) but I can't find the diagrams....could you please post a link as to where they are?

I have a ball that i invented that you sort of have to press on the sides and it will blow up. Tell me if you want me to diagram it.

Also have you thought of boxes that ˙ave to open up and the origami turns into a box?

Hm...could you show me a picture of the ball?
And yes, I've seen boxes before--like the rose cube or wobbly wall, right?

I just wanted something like an animal or something moving (like a ship) because those tend to finish with last touches/tweaks, such as crimping little arms for a cat. I was curious about looking for something that either touched up the piece before the final fold that reveals what it is ("surprise ending") or something that doesn't require a lot of touch up to look good (such as the turtle and heart mentioned on the previous page).

Today, i also figured out you could transform the ball into 3 boxes connected to each other. Pic of the ball coming soon.

Wow, that's pretty neat Bnm70! I'm sorry that it's not what I'm looking for at the moment, but don't let my opinion dissuade you from diagramming it. :)
