Usually when folding Chris' Flower Towers, I start off folding them from Drafting paper or Sketch paper, which you can buy at hardware stores or art supply stores. I only do this to get a feel for folding them, though, before I move to other materials.

Well, in Between The Folds, Chris Palmer folds an TWELVE point Flower Tower. This method is much more easier than the 8 Point Flower Tower that georigami folds. Here is my text explanation of the one Palmer folded in Between The Folds.

1. Go on my youtube channel: www.youtube.com/origamimaster4716 and find a video called "Origami 12 Point Tato Base-Traditional."

2. Fold it with 8 inch paper.

3. Turn it over to reveal a dodecagon.(12 sided shape)

4. Take 1 point to the center, and crease between the 2 radiuses. Repeat on all sides.

5. Take 1 point back to the center, and purse it by taking the inside layer on the left side, push it outwards so the the crease forms from the point, to where the left radius crease stops.

6. Repeat on all.

7. Unfold, and decreep by pushing each point of the larger dodecagon in, like Chris Palmer does in the video.

8. Make it back into the cylinder shape, and crush it the opposite way of where the layer is of the flower.

9. You get a new dodecagon, repeat steps 7-8 as many times as you want.

10. 8 inch- 3 layers 14 inch- 4 layers 28 inch- 5 layers 72 inch- 6 layers.
