Two and a half years. Incredibly awesome skilled madness. I could never do that, not because of my skill level, but because of my dedication levels. I could never do that.

Wow. That is awesome, whatever it is.
Also, you said it was your first ryujin 3.5. If you make more, i shall be seriously impressed.
EDIT:oh, i get it, it's the head and front legs. I love the dragon's expression and how it's exaggerated by it's mostache-thing-frondy-bits.
How did you do those?

Kafar, great job on your Ryu zin! =D>
I originally planned to start folding one after finishing Nguyen Hung Cuong's eagle, but I have to start a project for my grandmother :?
Any tips on shaping details?

NightBurstLycan I think you need to be a little more experienced to fold ryujin 3.5. What are you making for your grandmother?
Folder from Hønefoss, Norway. Pretty advanced, but I'm not that good at designing :P

It's nothing really, just a basura bag.
If you haven't heard of it, it's a bag made of wrappers and the like.
they often look like this:

Also, I've been folding for ten years now, and I've even test folded several parts of the ryu zin with great success 8)
I think I'm ready for an attempt, I just need some advice on getting the details right...

feel free to ask, but please make more detailed questions - for example, eye shaping, lower jaw shaping, claw shaping...

Thank you Kowal.
I need some tips on how to shape the eyes, as well as the lower jaw.
Any help would be appreciated!

1.2'S head is hard to precrease but easy to collapse. I don't know if there are any similarities between versions, but most of the head relies on a grid, so it's easy enough, although this is 1.2.

@NightBurstLycan: I'll try to help with what I am able to fold, however I am not sure if I'm doing those parts correctly. Also I won't have time for folding for like 1 month, I have exams now :(

by the way, what do you think about curving body of any ryu zin like on the image below? It has legs placed strangely, but ignoring thisfact we get a nice idea of shaping...

what do you think about adding more horns on the leg? like this, i mean the lower three ones. (it's my test fold, not fully shaped, but i'll probably do it like this)
