Roman Diaz Caballo (Need reminder of a fold)
Yay! My first post!
I need some help on a fold. The Caballo (Horse) needs a double rabbit ear fold for the legs. I have looked up double rabbit ear folds on youtube, but somehow I cannot seem to apply it to the leg of Roman Diaz's Horse.
If someone could help me with a photo, or even writing, that would be great!
I am also confuse on the mane- Roman Diaz's diagrams are hand drawn, and I am having trouble creating the mane, if someone could give me tips on that too, I'd be grateful.
Thanks for helping if you do.

Re: Roman Diaz Caballo (Need reminder of a fold)
Have you ever folded a traditional crane? You use a double rabbit's ear to thin the head and tail on that particular model, as an example, if videos aren't working as well.
Also, another thought--you are talking about Diaz's horse in Origami for Interpreters, correct? I don't know if he has other horse models, so I wanted to clarify. (Diaz's diagram of his horse in that book doesn't appear to look hand drawn, so I'm just asking to make sure.)
If we are talking about the book model, I think it was a double rabbit ear in which you had to apply the rabbit ear by pinching the leg so that the mountain fold applies to both sides of the leg, and fold it similar to a reverse fold to get the back leg by pushing in the paper created by the mountain fold inwards.
I'm a horrid explainer, so if you're still confused I'll try folding the model and see if I can provide some better information.

Yes! Thank you...I actually had gotten the diagrams from the Origami Resource Center...you explained it well thank you. I actually get what you are talking about (I'm surprised about that...I never get anything people tell me). Thanks! And thanks for welcoming me into the community!

A very nice fold! The shininess of the paper gives an interesting sheen to the subject.
Also, (curious) what kind of paper is that? Tissue foil?

Yes, it would be cool if you could modify that into a unicorn. the paper looks right for one!

Haha...yes that would be awesome, if I were that good of a folder....but alas, I mimic....the only thing I can create is a dragon head that I lost...I took part of Kade Chan's werewolf and made it a dragon head....I should have taken a picture. (I think I should try to fold it again
) I am not really good at my paper identifying, for I usually get any paper I can find and fold it...but I got it at an online art store called Dick Blick...or a name to that effect, and it has a sort of thickness to it, not like the regular foil paper you get in a pack of 300. Thanks!
