Argonaut, I'll edit the poll to have that as an option.

(I hope I understood that right. Also, I'm afraid everyone will have to vote again).

I'd like to join, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate due to personal issues. So mark me down as a maybe until I know for sure.

Count me in again! Good to see that there may be some changes - even if it doesn't end up being better, a few changes will at least stop this tournament getting boring by being the same every time :)

Some information is in the first post in this topic. The main idea. The commissioner of the tournament, in this case gab, will eventually close the entries and then he makes a scheme of the tournament. The scheme will be published and there you can see against who you will compete.
The one that is put first (read: "above") the other player will create a topic, named something like: ODT3 Round 1: Player 1 Vs. Player 2. In this topic this person will suggest 3 subjects of creation. The other player will chose 1 of the subjects. Then both persons have 3 weeks to create their work and submit it in the topic. After the 3 weeks in the same topic a poll will be started to decide who has won. This poll will usually run for about 1 week. (the commissioner will probably give these dates)
How the tournament will go is decided by the poll in this topic, i.e. if it will be a single or double elimination tournament. The first one means, if you lose you are out and cannot participate any more. The second one means, if you lose you have a second chance. In the poll you see two types of double elimination. One is that if you lose once you can only participate for third place, the other one is that you can still win the tournament even if you lost one game. For a more detailed explanation see my post on page 1 in this topic :)

If it is not too late, I would very much like to be included in this event.

Right now, by my count, we have 18 entrants. I'm going to accept new entrants for at least the coming week, and set a cap at 32. I can fill spaces with bye rounds, but the less I have to do this the better.18 competitors would mean that all but four get a bye in the first round, which is just silly. So, tell your friends! Let's get some more people in this!

Not sure if I was counted in that 18 or not, but put me down. I'll forfeit if I have to though.
