looking for a martial artist/karateka/judoka model

Post by machina »

Hi all,

I'm searching for any martial artist models out there - preferably diagrammed, but I could possibly try a not-too-hard crease pattern if need be... I know of one diagram by J F Bosca but have been unable to track down the diagram or book it's from anywhere - any help would be much appreciated!

thanks

http://www.flickr.com/photos/qandrem/ This guy has a nice base to make human figures and has been a making a whole series of shoalin. Maybe you can send him a message to get the CP or maybe he has diagrams. Cool series btw by qandrem!

Wow - Those shaolin models are absolutely amazing... They remind me of Joisel's work but also very original. Will definitely try to get in touch with him :)

There's an origami model of a person doing karate. The cp is next to the picture of the model. Hope that helps :D

Really? I did not know that. It gets confusing when people use a different name for the forum and their flickr...

Good find, but Noboru Miyajima is almost notorious for having tricky CPs that take a lot of shaping.
