What age did you start folding?

I folded really basic things when I was young. you know those little book you get for your birthday. but I actually just started hard core origami 2 months ago

I got my first origami book when I was 7, so 1990 or '91, but it was in 2002 that I first started designing my own models and looking for an online community.

Started when I was 12 when I started and now I am 13 and can fold anything thrown at me,like the Icarus, shadow ninja, a brilliant dwarf by Eric joisel and more. Sort of dissapointing that I just created an account here, it's an awesome place for help/info. Speaking of which, anyone got a good model for me to fold, it doesn't necessarily have to difficult, just a good result. I can do cp's or diagrams. Thanks!

I've folded since 2nd grade, but I've only started folding more challenging models since 4th grade.

I started folding since i was 6. I took it more seriously at 8. And at 8 1/2 i started folding complex models. When I was 10, i started designing complex models. Now im 11 and I've progressed farther.

8 years old when i started to fold simple models, (Crane,Flapping Bird, etc.) Took a break for a year and started it when i was 9, took a break again and started taking it seriously when i was 11, and now i am prett good at it!

I started folding last year at the age of 65. I take a medicine that causes hand tremors, so I try to be patient with myself and do the best I can.

Welcome to the forum! Better late than never. I started at the age of 11 (2 years ago) first with golden venture than modulars and now mostly one sheet models
