Only the people who found the perfect ratio between the whole and the scales are, comparing by the original model of Robert J. Lang, only 10 in this world..and even though they found it, most of them didn't gave any or adequate amount of information relating to that.
There is information in the book(mostly second edition), however, it's really hard to understand and it's even harder to put that ratio into a 'real' model. And of course, most of you guys who failed on folding the ratio is because they didn't look at the picture of 'original one' carefully, and didn't look at the numbers of scales in it.
I analyzed it for a while and found the near perfect ratio for this model and I have just test-folded it with small amount of scales for a test model.. looks good to me

Re: Greencube's Gallery
Nice to see to guys again, long time no see
As always, I'm back with another original design for the challenge.
Since I'm a teenager, it was quite hard for me to think of the things back in the past..retro..so I just asked my parents for something that relates to their retro and found a great idea.
So this time, I've made a shoe design that resembles the shoes that were popular when our parents were young
And of course, most of the talk was made between me and my dad so it's a bit like military shoes..
..well, whatever.)

The best part of this model is that it can be used in our daily life.
Yup, that's right! I managed to design one that can actually be worn
(perfect 3D)
Unfortunately this one doesn't fit my foot size, but trust me, it's really useful

Long time no see, my friends.
Before starting the new semester in March, I was recently working on ways of using the traditional Bird Base. Of course, in the early times of my designs, like 'whip spider', I was already studying on those techniques but wasn't really happy with the results.
So, as one of the result of my weeks work, here is my new design folded from pure traditional Bird Base.
Chocobo Eater! from 'Final Fantasy'
---------------
24 teeth, backbone, shoulders, toes, every thing is in the model..
Well, because of the bad quality of the paper, the model didn't go 'well' as I constructed..but.. I guess it's fine as long as you guys like it

Hope you guys like it!!!

Re: Greencube's Gallery

I found this AFX-9000 photo in Daniel Xu's photostream and folded it extemporally

It's an improvised design so the quality is bad, I guess..
