22.5deg Insect Challenge?
This is just an idea I had recently--what about a challenge for designing realistic insects using the 22.5-degree technique? I'm sure it's harder than it sounds, though I know a few designers have succeeded in the past.
RULES:
One uncut square
No glue (MC for shaping is allowed)
No coloring the model--any color changes must be genuine
Would anyone be interested?

I'm interested, although I can't guarantee I'll come up with anything.

Alright, good to hear.
I'm working on two of them myself, so those will be posted once I finish folding them.
The only question now is whether there should be a deadline. I'm thinking not because it's so difficult.

Re: 22.5deg Insect Challenge?
Forgive the double post, but I finally finished the first model. I can't embed the picture from my ipod, but it's here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/baltofolder/33862441362/
If anyone's able to come out to CenterFold this year, I'm planning on teaching it.

I'll give it a go. Insects aren't my specialty, but what the heck.

Nice! Did you take any pictures on a darker background? It's a little hard to make out the details, but it looks like an awesome design, especially being 22.5!
