Hello,
I have some problem with 2 butterfly origami.
the first one is with step number 7 of the
model published on the following webpage
http://members.aol.com/davidpetty/mom18.htm
Can someone please explain to me how the collapse fold should go?
the second problem I'm having is with the crease diagram which is
located at
http://www.ganymeta.org/~darren/butterfly.php
I'd really like the latter one to serve as a bookmark but in case nobody can figure out how to make this one I'd love to see some explanation on the step 7 of the first model.
thanks
mateusz

The steps up to 7 are for folding a windmill base. You can try these instructions here up to step 9 to get the same result. These diagrams might be a bit clearer.
So long and keep folding ^_^

If I run into problems I'll ask here

I've got a newer version of the diagram in the works.
It is not yet ready for general viewing.
It will be at the same URL, so check back from time to time.

The new version of my butterfly diagram has been up for some time. Since my site recently got some traffic from this thread, I figured I should make the announcement here and have the old version sent to its grave.
It should be more usable than the old version, good luck folding.
