I'm just used to it. I used to go to bed at 9.30 but now I do so much more stuff at school I get up early. I stay up late on weekends (late meaning past 9pm). Then I can save up all my energy for folding.

My only problem with late night folding is that if you're exhausted your folds get sloppy.

I always fold late into the night, until my eyes are too tired to see the creases or until my hands stop working :D

I was folding the buterfly from Robert Langs Origami insects until almost 12:00 at night, only to have ti rip when i was about to stop.

i destroyed it the next day when i have more energy to be evil
If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

I have a bad habit of getting to the point where I should really be going to sleep but decide to fold something to relax instead. Always regret it the next morning but I'm trying to stick to simpler models when I do this now.

I used to use reading to tire me out so that I can sleep (even if it's just diagrams from an origami book!)

Same thing happens with me. I tend to read the introductions, history and paper tips in books before I got to bed, in hope of designing something in my sleep. :D
