J.C. Nolan - Braided Paper

Post by Tzackel »

Hello, I'm new in this and found "Braided paper" look pretty nice for not so many steps  .

http://dev.origami.com/images_pdf/braided.pdf

I've done the windmill base at step 6 but i don't really understand how to do the x-ray step...for the flaps are connected underneath so i'll otherwise have to cut there to do it :/
Thanks.

Tzackel,

After you do step 6 and sink the points, it should look a bit like 4 waterbomb bases with their open sides along the sides of the square. I think it means you should ignore the top layer, and look at where the two inner folds meet. Then reverse fold these so that the crease which was perpendicular to the outside of the square lies along the diagonal of the square.

Must get camera. Words make my brain hurt.

Thanks...
I figured it last night when i realised that "sink fold"....means some other thing...in fact step 6 wasn't done corectly...
Finished it and looks pretty nice : )
