Thank you for tips and photos, origamimasterjared - now I have my first model folded from CP :) A serious reason for registering and writing the first post :)

Cupcake, you did not understatnd correctly. It is no problem to make that base but, as you can see, the base and finished model is absolutely different. The procedure from base to the model, I call it after Grzegorz Bubniak "final shaping", is much complicated and it is pretentious to folder. He needs for example good "art view" (how to say it).

Indeed. I've quickly constructed and collapsed that base, but what next...? There is the head, there is the tail, there are places for fore and hind legs... that's easy. But how to shape them? That is the question.
A good point to start shaping: look that the distance from base "head" to the base "back" is shorter than in finished model, and the angle is different. You need to pull the head. Then forelegs will move to the tail and won't lie flat. For me that was the breakthrough :)
