Reference finder

Post by maarten_smit »

I downloaded the origami reference finder and I know I can use it for the miura-ken rose, but I don't know what else to use it for. Anybody got ideas?
a little birdy in the sky,
dropped a poopy in my eye.
i wasn't mad, i didn't cry,
i just thank god that cows can't fly...

Well, you can't really use that program for something other than finding references. It's always helpful when you have to fold your square into something like 7th or 13th.

There are tons of things that need reference points-really everything needs a reference point, but some are harder than others-most complex models have reference points to be found.

Just to give you an example, I used Reference Finder to fold Robert Lang's Fiddler Crab (the model on you avatar) from the CP.

Reference finder has become an integral part of applying my construction system. I really need to get my diagrams on the net, but I can't get onto my ftp server!! sigh.
