Guns and Boats

Post by KtkZergs »

Ive been looking for these kinds of diagrams, but I was unfortunate. Can you help me find a model with a diagram of a gun or a complex sailing boat or battleship?
Thanks

I can't think of any diagrams of guns... but there's a good chance you could find Robert Harbin's 'Origami Step by Step', in which you can find Patricia Crawford's 'Full-rigged Ship'. See a picture here:

I guess it reminds me of the Battleship from Warcraft II, haha.

There's Brian Chan's Attack of the Kraken on his site. (Only CP Though)

Oh, and the Kraken is inside the CP so, I don't know if you want the Kraken too. There's also an unpublished gun there too.

Robin Glynn designed a Tommie-gun, pretty cool. Diagrams on a cdrom sold by Londonorigami. Visit Paul Hanson's http://www.orceryoforigami.co.uk page. There is a photo on this page http://www.britishorigami.info/society/ ... t2007.html
Some of my designs are also on the cd!!

One of the forum contributors here provided diagrams for a cool gublade. The diagrams actually show the gun itself, you have to figure the blade part from the crease pattern. Here is the link to his site.

The gun is really fun to fold and impressive when completed.

Well, the thing is, there is a very limited selection of free online diagrams. I don't know how bady you want to find diagrams but your best chance is to check nearby libraries. I think we've given you the majority of free and legal diagrams. You also might be better off designing one yourself. You'll get a lot more out of it, trust me.
