What will you fold for the Origami USA 2008 challenge?

You still can, however, sink the body in at an angle instead of parallel, to give a cleaner back appearance, I think.

I've been thinking of making a rhamphorhynchus (stupid long scientific names >.<) for the challenge. I love flying creatures and anything with wings. I would have chosen a pterodon, but those have been folded to death...

No they haven't. Pteranodons have. I've seen about the same number of Rhamphorhynchuses as I have Pterodactyls... And neither particularly great...

Montroll has a pretty good rhamporhyncus in his book Prehistoric Origami.

Erm, no photos in this thread please. The designs are supposed to be secret until the contests. So said Robert Lang when I showed him a Brontothere I knocked up during lunchtime at the BOS convention.

I told him it was just an exploratory base, and told him that by the close, the design would have eyelashes
